Having been a successful Recruiter for UK and International placements for many years, a common factor became obvious in the way that Candidates profiled themselves for a job opportunity. Many were expert in their profession, however they lacked expertise in representing themselves as a top Candidate. Likewise most Hiring Managers, and quite a few HR Professionals, failed to realise how recruitment has changed from the Baby Boomer days, as a result they continually selected the wrong Candidates. Upon retirement I decided to author a series of 10 eBooks to provide advice to Job seekers, and also Employers, in the hope that future Candidates help Recruiters to profile them professionally and Employers of Companies, large and small, may think about fine tuning and improving their recruitment skills, and create Employee retention strategies to ensure they only select key talent and in doing so know how to retain them.
